In 2019, Jill Clark developed a love for candle making in her free time. She was passionate about creating clean, high-quality candles and wanting to share her craft with the world, so she set up an online shop on a global marketplace for unique and creative goods under the name Salty & Lit. Her store took off, quickly transforming from a passion project to an extremely successful business. That is… until she listed a “Let’s Go Brandon” candle and the woke powers-that-be on the global marketplace decided to shut down her account. (Classic, right?)

Jill thought that was the end of the road for candles but quickly put her other talents to use in the fight against the woke mob for The Daily Wire in their finance department. Months later, Jeremy discovered Jill’s candle business was canceled by the woke mob. What else could he do but un-cancel her and bring her amazing candles back to the market with the full power of The Daily Wire brand behind it.

The Daily Wire purchased Salty & Lit and invited Jill to be The Daily Wire’s resident chandler as well as candle brand and product developer. From there, The Candle Club was born.

This merging of candle-creating dreams gave way to a new kind of candle—one that is handcrafted in Tennessee, with only the highest-quality, non-toxic ingredients, backed by conservative values, and on a mission to protect the family and the home.
